Managing tyre wear and temperatures is a critical part of racing. The VBOX Tyre Temperature Monitoring System has been specifically designed to measure, log and display surface temperature of a tyre.
The VBOX Tyre Temperature Monitoring System will provide invaluable information to the driver whilst on track, allowing them to monitor the temperatures of the tyre. The display offers a visual representation of the whole surface temperature for all four tyres via 64 individual heat maps, as well as live temperature and maximum temperature values.
Each of the sensors provided has up to a 120° field of view, measuring 16 points on the tyre. The sensors can read between -20°C to +300°C.
The main display unit is a VBOX Touch which can be used to run other apps if you did not require the tyre temperatures for every session.
